Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (about 1 lb)

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2025 slices of pepperoni

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Cornmeal or flour for dusting

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined pizza peel or baking sheet.

  3. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer with pepperoni slices.

  5. Sprinkle dried oregano and red pepper flakes over the top if desired.

  6. Transfer the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the hot pizza stone or bake directly on the baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.

  8. Remove from the oven, let rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve hot.
