  • Author: SOFIA
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: About 1 1/2 cups spread 1x

Description

This Gorgonzola and Scallion Spread is a creamy, tangy, and delightfully bold appetizer that comes together in minutes. With the rich depth of Gorgonzola cheese and the fresh zing of scallions, it’s perfect for spreading on crackers, crostini, or sandwiches. Ideal for parties, cheese boards, or a gourmet snack any time of day!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz (about 1/2 cup) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

  • 8 oz (1 cup) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions (green onions)

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice for brightness

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and crumbled Gorgonzola.

  • Mix with a hand mixer or fork until mostly smooth (a few small Gorgonzola chunks are fine).

  • Stir in the garlic powder, black pepper, and chopped scallions.

  • If desired, add lemon juice to brighten the flavor.

  • Transfer to a serving bowl, cover, and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
