Hello! My name is Sofia, and I’m 39 years old. I was born and raised in beautiful Naples, Italy, a city full of sunshine, sea breeze, and, of course, amazing food. My love for cooking started when I was just a little girl in my grandmother’s kitchen. I still remember standing on a small stool so I could reach the counter, watching her hands move with care as she made fresh pasta, stirred sauces, and baked the softest cakes.

My grandmother was my first teacher. She didn’t follow recipes from books—she cooked with her heart. She showed me how to feel the dough, how to taste the sauce, how to smell when something was ready. With her, cooking was a way to show love. I always felt safe and happy in that kitchen, and I knew even then that food would be a big part of my life.

A few years ago, I moved to America. It was a big change, and in the beginning, I missed home a lot—especially the food. But I brought my grandmother’s recipes with me, in my heart and in my hands. Cooking helped me feel close to my roots and share a part of Italy with new friends. Slowly, I started mixing old traditions with new ideas, trying new ingredients, and learning from different cultures.

Today, I cook for my family, my friends, and for anyone who wants to learn. My kitchen is full of memories, but also full of experiments and laughter. Sometimes my dishes are perfect, and sometimes they’re not—but that’s part of the fun!

On this blog, I want to share my journey with you. Simple recipes, stories from my life, tips from my grandmother, and little secrets that make every dish special. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been cooking for years, I hope you find something here that makes you smile and inspires you to cook with love.

Thank you for being here with me. Let’s cook together!
